开斋节假期

假期一开始的星期六，CC一帮百多个人大清早起身（加上一些疲累没睡觉的工委），兴致勃勃的跳上巴士，出发到邦咯岛。路上来来往往的车辆及司机的小心让我们比预期迟了些才到达目的地。一下车二年生即赶上快艇抵岛。下榻的酒店外表残旧阴暗，但房间还算不错，住的舒服。参加者一到节目就依计划进行，一切顺利。特别喜欢明哲与明倩的开场，太可爱了=D。。。 负责膳食组的我就和组员们排好场地，分派食物。晚餐后的侦探游戏让人匪夷所思，哭笑不得，演员们都非常敬业，演得很好。过后我们就在冰天雪地中过夜，冷气机的温度好底，好底。。。



第二天，星期日，我们起身得晚，大家睡得太香了。一天里我就注意膳食方面的分配及帮忙厨房洗碗。 下午闲空时就到处走走，看哪儿需要帮忙。。。晚上有海鲜晚餐。所谓海鲜晚餐，就是其中有一道菜是螃蟹，一小部分的螃蟹，小得可爱。我们把桌子摆成HARRY POTTER电影中长桌的形式，开了灯，气氛还算不错，只是场地略小，有点拥挤。



第三天，早上有自由时间，许多人都早起出外逛街去了，我们却赖床，迟迟不醒，弄到最后早餐没得吃，吊桥没得走，还引来了只水蛭与我相拥，让我血不自禁的流呀流。还得感谢恺慈与欣研对伤口的照顾。。。说来还真倒霉，前一天在走沙滩时摔了一跤割了一下左脚的大拇指，那只可爱的水蛭竟在同一个地点下手，是不是那儿受了伤有血腥味才把它引来的呢？哼哼。。。自由时间过后大家又聚在一起进行最后一项游戏及团康。最喜欢的就是团康了，尤其是祺勇的新年早操，不愧是早操王子！过后吃了午餐，分了奖项，就是CC歌出动的时间，这首歌真是的，太适合用来做离别的歌曲了。。。往往让人情不自禁撒下热泪，许多人都中招了。。。唉。。。过后又来个拥抱时间，不是吧！！。。。这也就算了，DJ（是这样叫吧？）竟然还播发抒情歌曲。。。唉。。。



之后呢是拍照时间，大家尽是疯狂的自拍，拍双人照，三人照。。。团体照。。。一如平常。。。基于酒店疏于沟通，的士迟迟才来一辆，两辆，我们最后三点半左右才到达对岸（本来两点前就能到的，真是的。。。）

到了对岸，就乘坐欣妍妈妈驾来的车去她在实桃远的家。那儿有点像民都鲁，路大大平平的。梳洗一番了就往TELUK BATIK参观走走。那是一个公共海滩，好多人哦。。。接着就和家人吃晚餐。由于假期的关系，各个海鲜店爆满，我们只好到(不是专门卖海鲜的)玫瑰餐厅（研看来不是很喜欢那儿，但她爸说那是老字号了），对我来说就很不错咯，食物很好一下。晚餐过后又去吃干捞面当宵夜(据说很好吃)，很特别，很不错。过后就顶了个大大的肚子睡觉，满足又无奈。



第二天，星期二，和研的妈妈与弟妹去吃早餐，干盘面=D，还有‘扁肉’叻，扁肉的味道，难以形容，只能说：“WOW!”还吃了鸡蛋糕和光饼，光饼和诗巫的不一样，他们的已经改良了，较大，较脆，还有餡呢。然后我们就去打羽球，研的弟妹还真厉害，甘拜下风。研也不赖，看来她的脚好得七七八八了。下午研的妈妈煮了红酒鸡汤+面线，好好吃，好家里哦。。。

三点多研的爸爸载我们到安顺，恺慈家。安顺就有点像诗巫，弯弯穿孔的路，许多豪华的屋子（是我的话多好）。。。到了恺慈家就是双方父母寒暄的时候，做后辈的就静静的陪着（好像远方的姑姑来家里拜访的时候。。。“孩子几岁了啊？”“成绩怎样呀”。。。之类的）过后去泗川餐厅吃晚餐，还是头一次吃到魔鬼鱼，很不错呢。很喜欢那时的麦片虾，好好味哦XD 晚餐过后还去买了猪肠粉，还去了恺慈的同学聚会，吃了些寿司，好饱。



星期三早，与慈的家人吃早餐，咖喱面，好吃。之前在家里吃了水果，好好哦，如果老妈每早切水果多好，呵呵呵。。。午餐是街边的炒粿条，好久没吃这么“像样”的粿条了，好幸福。。。过后慈买了ROJAK，很不错，但不是很和口味。。。下午和慈一起去做邮差，送月饼。恺慈的妈妈还真是努力的做月饼呢，加油！晚上和慈去同学聚会，同学们都很可爱呢，尤其是那个没头没脑的同学，还真把我当安顺人了呢，哈哈。。。

星期四，回“家”的时候到了。早上从美梦中被恺慈吵醒，吃了恺慈妈妈的爱心早餐，就出发了。上了巴士，一路到吉隆坡，是回到现实的时候了。

后知后觉的我竟然没什么拍到照片。。。真是的。。。

带了一些土产回来，尤其是光饼，因不能耐久，只好先吃。所以有了光饼早餐，光饼午餐，和光饼晚餐，延续到星期五（就是今天）的光饼早餐。间中还给了些素娴，ANNA 和真晶，终于完了！嘢！

非常喜欢这个假期，把功课放在一旁不说，玩乐的时候太爽了。CC TRIP 办得很不错，在研和恺慈家又好吃好住的，真是感谢神的恩典，赐我平安与健康，万分感谢神。回到宿舍，还是想念之前的小镇风情，那悠哉闲哉的生活在这儿是求之不得。在每一个地方，都感受到了家庭的温暖，那种感觉，是平常找不到的。妈妈准备的早餐, 弟妹间（少许）的骂战，推卸责任，让人倍感温馨。=D

就带着这感恩的心情过余下的学期吧=）

Dungun Melaka Trip

Went for a trip with Amy, Melissa and Park a few days ago to Dungun and Melaka.

Reached June’s house after taken 6 hours of bus ride. We cooked ourselves for the dinner after insisting her to cook for us. Alright, it’s mostly June who did the cooking. We had tofu, two dishes of veges that I forgot the name, a dish of carrot+telur (nah, at least I did a dish… one of my favourite), and fish ball soup. It was really good eating ‘homey’ food after I came here in July. Then we went for (2) suppers at night, lekur… there we went…

We went to Kuala Terengganu by bus on the second day. It was a blazing extremely hot day. We visited crystal mosque and Terengganu Museum (which we were told it’s the biggest museum in our country). The buildings were really nice, big, and majestic. I like the architecture very much. In the evening we rushed back to Dungun to have dinner with her aunt. Finally we ate Chinese food. I mean, Chinese food, outside in the restaurant in Terengganu. Suddenly it seemed special to me.

The next day we went to Melaka after having breakfast at the pasar with June’s aunt. Then we went for some ss photoshoot session along the benteng. Although it’s not surprising to find only ONE pork selling shop in Dungun, it’s still very interesting, seeing a small stall located beside a Chinese Community Hall.

Mel didn’t follow us to Melaka so it left three of us taking 9 hours bus to Melaka. It was a freaking long hour travel, luckily the bus was comfortable, and unlike the one we took to Terengganu, lousy double decker. Titan came and picked us for dinner then to his house for the few nights stay.

Titan brought his friend, Lynette to bring us around Melaka town, had chicken rice ball as breakfast and.visiting all kinds of museum and buildings. Among all old buildings I like St Paul’s Church the most, it’s so magnificent. Then in the evening we had cendol beside a graveyard. Not, beside, but stepping right on the graves to have cendol. Interesting huh, to sell cendol at this kinda place. It was popular. At night we had satay celup as dinner then we went to the Eye On Malaysia. There were not many views, as there were not as many lights of the city. It would be much nicer if it was in KL. Then we went to the Jetty to have a drink and went to KTV in the end.

Lynette wasn’t well in the morning the next day so three of us walked out ourselves. Titan’s place’s located right in the middle of the town; it’s convenient to walk to the historical town. Basically we went to the places that we went the day before because the photos taken in Park’s camera were spoilt so we went to St Paul’s church again to take picture then to Pahlawan Mall to get his camera fixed. I was glad that we walked, we saw many things that we didn’t noticed on the car ride the day before. I was in awe with the architecture of the old buildings. They’re so beautiful.

This morning we took 11pm’s bus back to KL. I’m starting to miss Melaka’s food. Cendol… Chicken rice balls-which the taste was so much like Sibu’s.

ConneXion

ConneXion student conference in First Baptist. an event which amazingly i managed to put everything behind and focused in it.

There were four sessions, first on Friday night and three others on Saturday afternoon and evening and night.:P

The first session went with Marilyn, SeJung, SiRui and of course, Billie. There was ...pre-worship music?... then later praise and worship by Dan Carson and his team, it was awesome. He did it for three sessions, it created such a comfortable atmosphere that got me think of nothing but sing. I dozed off a lil bit during the sermon, my fault, was too tired. Jason, a student pastor preached about 'What does Jesus mean to you?' He did raised a question, which left us thinking...thinking...

The second session went with SeJung. Billie joined the pre-worship music. Then there's Dan Carson's p&w, then Jason's second sermon, on 'the authentic trasfomation'. It was short but concrete, then we moved on to the third session at two thirty, the breakout session. There were two slots where we could chose from 7 topics. Later there was Q&A session by Jason. He answered a number of questions which most of us were interested in. I wished we had more time on that. The sessions were good, i was reminded again of my role as a Christ believer, yes.

Then it was dinner. We went to Amcorp Mall with Candis. I ordered a nasi goreng kampung, and it was the first time i wasted food, i mean, really wasting. I ate like, two 'mouth' of it and i could't eat it anymore. It was probably the most spicy nasi goreng i've had in a year here in kl. I was feeling guilty and yet so helpless that my tongue was ruined.

After dinner we had the last session at seven thiry, damansara connexion did the pre-worship and it was nice. Then we had the second Q&A session with Rodney, the church pastor and three other 'elders/student leaders?'. Then the p&w worship with Dan Carson, the third and last time for the conference, man he can sing any songs~ Six times and a half of 'George Washinton Bridge' can be made a song. And he sang one song with a speed that (i dun really get what he sang~). Later it was Jason's preaching again. Two quotes that i would like to share with you, by Jason:

"Everyone wants to be a part of GREATNESS."
"Stand up for God, even if you have to stand ALONE."

The second quote means a lot to me, a great challenge, that needs a lot of sacrification. Then he did a calling for us students to respond to HIM, the one who is there from the beginning to the end.

Then we dismissed.

Then i started to feel a sense of missing.

Ok we should not depend too much on feeling since it won't last. And it's time to start wrapping the messes that i created in my life, for the past few weeks, and live for Christ. It'll be a start and never an end.

Discipline, Faith, and most of all, LOVE.

Thanks to Billie who ajak us to the conference and Kevin, Candis and not forgetting, Martin who drove us to and back from the Church. =D

Jason, the main speaker from the States, he brought along 20(if i'm not mistaken) young people with him, all of them nice and friendly.

Steven (from North Carolina and has a pair of very beautiful eyes, the first guy i talked to in church that at first i was so...Shy i guess...) and Alice (from erm, which part in Sabah already?, speaks Cantonese fluently and it's nothing like what KL people speaks, it's very Hong Kong-nized, and her English is like, very Chinese, i mean China, that makes me thought she came from China~, a very nice God-loving girl :P).

SS week

Namely, Sick and Sports week.

First it's me. Then there're my roomies. Ah Hui was the worse, cough then fever, fever then cough, repeatedly for a few days. Ah Jing cough. And me was unstable, fever, cough and cold. Darn virus bastard. Lucky it started to ease after thursday. Thank God. Everyone seemed to get better. Sorry roomies me was a big virus.

Three times of badminton this week. Need tonnes lot of improvement. One of my happy sports that i won't stop playing until i'm too weary. A huge contrast playing between guys and gurls. Hmm....

Hiking this morning to Hutan Pendidikan at Jalan Gasing. Just realized that there's an oasis in town. Hill, trees, trails (not to mention UM jungle). Shame on me telling Lesles and Anna to be prepared by 6.30 and i was the one who woke up after that time. It's challenging, expecially for me who has little stamina, to climb up the stairs need a hell lots of energy, more than the amount i used in playing badminton for a week. I was (i think many were, except some guys who're fit although they don't look fit...really can't judge a book by its cover) nearly fatigue when we reach the end of the trail. Phew, out of the 'jail',leg nearly patah (although it hardly took an hour for the whole journey ><).

Saw many dogs today. In fact it's the first time i see dogs on the street, and each of good breed. 'Branded' man! I dunno their breeds-- two were as tall as a ten year old kid, and many furly cute doggies. Hope to have a tall 'musculine' doggie too sometime in the future.=)
