The Victorious Lamb

The Victorious Lamb - An Exposition on the Book of Revelation, is written by Rev Dr Tie King Tai, the current principal of Methodist Theological School, Sibu.

An excerpt from the book:
At a party, a doctor was chatting with a lawyer. Their chatting was interrupted buy a woman. The woman insisted on telling the doctor about a pain in her leg. She asked the doctor what to do about it. The doctor advised her. After she went away, the doctor asked the lawyer,"Do I have a right to send that woman a bill for my professional services?" The lawyer replied,"Certainly." The next day the doctor sent the woman a bill to charge her for his advice. But the doctor also received a bill-from the lawyer. He was also charged by the lawyer for the lawyer's advice of one word-"certainly". This lawyer is truly marvelous in sending the doctor a bill! (pg 154)

Some quotes:
Many people go on living a sinful life today as if there would be no judgment at all; as if they are not accountable for what they are doing today.

We are all born with determination, we just need to use it.

Faith is a living, busy, active, powerful thing; it is impossible for it not to do good continually. It never asks whether good works are to be done, but has done them before there is time to ask the question, and it is always doing them.

We need to rule our time, our life, our family, our work, our study, and so on with excellence - we need to act like a king to do the excellent job for God in all the things we do now.

It's a great book which explains The Book of Revelation in detail, and it challenges Christians to rethink our relationships with God. Are we prepared for the day to come? For "the time is near" and "the day of the Lord will come like a thief"
